Established in 1999 Tower Estate Winery was designed with the latest equipment, keeping in mind that the wines are made using traditional techniques. Our winemaking process is labour intensive, very much hands on, with an objective of making a maximum of only 1000 cases of each chosen wine. The Winery's Barrel Room is testament to the care and attention to detail that permeates Tower Estate Winery. The philosophy of Tower Estate Wine is to create wines of classic style from fruit sourced from the Australian region that best suits a particular grape variety and style. Our wines thus reflect the true regional characteristics of each selected grape variety. Our policy is to produce limited edition vintages of a maximum of only 1,000 cases of each wine; although in some years this can be much lower due to the quality and quantity of fruit available. Limiting production to 1,000 cases allows an uncompromising approach to our winemaking. Our wines often gain rave reviews from wine critics and many well-known Australian wine writers, and naturally win awards! We have received trophies for our Semillons, Sauvignon Blancs and Shiraz. Qantas have again taken the Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc for First Class in flight service and also offer our 2003 Hunter Shiraz in Business Class. So popular are our wines that we are unable to meet all export demands. We have distributors selling our wines in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. While our distributors carry some of our range, we often organise to freight our other vintages to most regions of the world in response to specific requests that any customer may have.
